EBAY SNEAKERSENSE LAB

eBay’s Sneakersense is a first-of-its-kind multi-sensory experience that tests sneakerheads’ knowledge. Through sound, touch, taste, sight and smell and the exclusive sixth “Sneaker Sense”

I was tasked with creating an interactive website quiz to challenge sneaker fans to see if they can identify a real sneaker from the tightest of angles. To enter the quiz you scan a QR code which directs you to the website. Challenge: Design an immersive and interactive website quiz to test sneakerheads’ knowledge of sneaker authenticity. The quiz should utilise engaging UI/UX design principles to create a challenging and rewarding experience for users of all levels.

I leveraged my expertise in UX/UI design and web development to create a website quiz that presents users with ultra-close-up images of iconic sneakers and asks them to identify the real sneaker from a multiple choice of 4. The quiz is designed to be challenging and rewarding, with points feeding into a live scoreboard. Users at the top of the leaderboard have a chance to win coveted prizes, such as Union Jordan 4s and New Balance JJJounds.

I worked closely with the eBay team to ensure that the quiz met their goals and aligned with their overall brand identity.

The quiz was showcased at pop-up events at Kings Cross and Sneakerness’s Truman’s Brewery in September 2023.
